About Crown Molding Architectural

Hand-carved marble crown molding and cornice in dentil, egg-and-dart, and plain cove profiles, cut to the ceiling lengths your room requires.

Crown molding closes the joint between wall and ceiling, and in stone it does so with a weight that painted wood cannot match. Fine's Gallery cuts these cornices from marble in white, cream, and beige, finished by hand in classical profiles. Choose a dentil course of evenly spaced blocks, a carved egg-and-dart ovolo, or a plain stepped cove for rooms that call for restraint. Runs are cut to the ceiling perimeter of the room they trim, and matching baseboard can be carved from the same stone, so one material carries from floor to ceiling.
