Mantels are more than just a frame for your fireplace. They are the focal point of your living space, gathering family and friends in conversation around it. Connections are formed around a mantel, making them not only an incredible statement piece, but a part of your community.

However, buying a mantel for the first time can be daunting. What materials do I choose from? How do the measurements work? When will I receive it? These are all frequently asked questions that many first-time buyers ask. Here is a compiled list of FAQs along with answers from the Fine's Gallery team.

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

Q. What materials do you offer for mantels?

Q. What kind of fireplace should I use with my mantel?

    1. Marble is non-combustible so it is up to you. This means that you can use a gas or wood powered fireplace with the marble mantel. Heat will rarely discolor the marble.

Q. How do I receive a quote?

    1. Our team is working hard everyday to provide the fastest service available. We do our best to provide quotes for our customers within 24-48 hours of contacting us. For any direct questions for our team, please call 239-277-0009!

Q. What payment methods are accepted?

    1. ACH, wire, Visa/Mastercard, and Split-Pay (50 % deposit, 50 % prior to shipping).

Q. How do I maintain my marble mantel?

    1. Marble mantels are very durable, but still require care and attention from time to time. Using a pH-neutral stone cleanser with a microfiber towel will help remove any small impurities that may appear. Avoid using anything acidic, as that can break down the mantel and cause discoloration over time. Small blemishes can also be buffed down, but larger cracks or damage should be looked at by a professional.
